Ann Oliver’s last Adelaide Festival Supper Club

We are delighted to announce that our friend and colleague senior South Australian chef and food writer, Ann Oliver has chosen Red Ochre Grill as the venue for her last Adelaide Festival Supper Club.

Red Ochre Grill is superbly located on the River Torrens at the weir on War Memorial Drive North Adelaide and has one of Adelaide’s most lovely city views. It is also closely located to the Adelaide Writers’ Week venue and the Adelaide Festival Centre. A pleasant 10 minute walk along the River Torrens and about a 15 minute cab ride from any city hotel or theatre venue. Red Ochre Grill has particularly lovely night time city views and ample free parking. Popeye the historic city river transport that runs along the river and to the Adelaide Zoo can also be caught during daylight hours at the landing immediately in front of the Festival Centre and will drop you (on request) at the restaurant’s landing.
With the exception of Sundays, email reservations will be confirmed within 24 hours – if you do not get email confirmation please ring the restaurant. Reservations are not taken for drinks, tapas (for want of a better word) or desserts only, but you can make reservations for supper by telephoning the restaurant or email your booking. The nature of festivals means tables turn so we expect to be able to easily accommodate walk–ins, at the worst it might mean a drink at the bar until a table becomes free.

Tasting plate entrée, choice of four mains, fabulous dessert plate featuring three of our top desserts. Adults $69, children $39 food only.
