South Australia produces 75% of Australia’s premium bottled wine and our list, whilst not entirely South Australian, does place an emphasis on showcasing the best of South Australian wines. We are constantly tasting new and interesting wines and write our wine list with the determination to have a broad range of prices from modest to indulgent. On our list an inexpensive wine does not mean a bad wine, but rather that we have been able to source a great wine that can be sold for a modest price.

For the indulgent there is an excellent back vintage selection and we have a broad selection of sparkling wines and French Champagnes. Single malt and cognac lovers have not been forgotten and our barman enjoys making classical and exotic cocktails.

Our by–the–glass list is extensive (currently 24 wines) and is a great way to be introduced to a new varietal, a new winemaker or winery or just enjoy an old favourite. Wines by–the–glass are also an excellent way for overseas visitors to taste a range South Australian wines.

Red Ochre Grill wine service staff are very experienced with fine wine dinners and our chefs enjoy the challenge of matching food to wine.
